Well twenty years of a rivalry means you can expect physical games between the Mudbugs and Brahmas and we definitely saw that this past weekend. A lot of players sent to the sin bin and a lot of pushing and shoving after the whistles were blown. I asked Coach what that means for practice this week knowing the inevitability of there being fire and ice come Friday night.
Jason Cambell said, “You want to keep the intensity up at practice so guys are prepared come the weekend but at the same time you’re not doing as many battle drills or at least we aren’t at this point. Guys know they need to bring the physical element and as long as the energy is up and the tempo is up at practice and the energy level is there so naturally the physical level will come out. Come game time at least that’s what we’ve seen so far.”
So an action packed game three is coming your way right here from George’s Pond on Friday puck drop is set for 7:11pm and we’ll be there all night long bringing you highlights and post game reaction so make sure you’re staying locked in to NBC 6 and of course our social media at KTAL Sports.
