Northwestern State looking for more scoring from youngsters

To say Northwestern State has been struggling would be an understatement.

The Demons normal high scoring offense has been non existent since the loss of both point guards in Jalan West and Devante Hall.

Add in a couple of injuries and the Demons are playing some pretty young kids in key positions.

Coach McConathy says they just need to learn to score the basketball.

Mike McConathy said, “When you have a young team and a team that’s struggling and you’re away from home that’s tough. We had a rough week last week playing against two really tough teams in Southeastern and Sam Houston. There was some positive things about the games but at the same time we haven’t been able to score the basketball.”

The Demons are back on the court Wednesday at 6:30 pm.
