Pleasant Grove is now 2-0 after a dominating win over Paris in week two.
The Hawks are outscoring their opponents 72-33 through the first two games.
This week, they get to focus on themselves because it’s the open week.
Coach Gibson says it’s coming at the perfect time.
Justin Gibson said, “Yeah our big dale is to try and grow every day during practice. Try to take a step and get better, not be complacent, and this off week comes at a good time because we play Frisco, and they run that flex bone offense that’s really hard to stop. A lot of misdirection. You don’t see it very often. So we get two weeks to prepare for those guys, and an extra week to get some of our bruises and banged up kids healed. So, the off week comes at a good time this year.”
The Hawks will be back in action on September 22nd when they take on Frisco.
