The Queen City Bulldogs are coming off a big win over Cushing last Thursday night. The dogs using that flex bone offense, sort of a running spread offense to score 48-points. Last year coach Burk and his guys topped Cushing and then finished with a 1-9 record. This year they expect much more, and after that week one performance who could blame them.
Queen city now turns it’s attention to Prairiland. Last year the Patriots took down the dogs by 7 and Coach Burk says these teams look an awful lot alike on both sides of the ball. It should be a good one Friday night.
Justin Burk said: “They run a defense similar to our, the bear front. They get after it. Their kids play really hard. Offensively they like to milk the clock. They like to run the ball and really play keep away. They try to out execute you. It’s kind of similar, the two teams are very similar when it comes to the way they play.”
