Shakyla Hill becomes all time Grambling career leader in assists

We can’t stop talking about Shakyla Hill. Another record broken in Saturday nights win against Alabama A&M. The senior became the all time Grambling State career leader in assists. Hill now has two quadruple doubles, is the fourth lady tiger to reach 2,000 career points, has the SWAC and Grambling record with 483 steals and is second all time in GSU rebounds with 920.

Freddie Murray said, “Well I can’t ask her to do no more it’s going to be bittersweet because her reel is coming to an end and what she’s done for this program it just speaks volumes. She’s got a little bit more gas left in the tank and so we look to see bigger and better things from her going into the tournament..”
