The Parkway Panthers came into last season looking to be one of the top teams in the state of Louisiana. However, they lost both Justin Rogers and Terrace Marshall to injury in the first two weeks of the season. In stepped Amani Larry at quarterback, who led the panthers to four wins in their final 9 games including a first round playoff loss. But it’s that experience and a large senior class that could have the panthers contending for a district title in 2018.
“He was thrown into the fire and he certainly took some bumps and bruises and made mistakes but he did a lot of good things too. The experience from him playing last year going into this year is tremendous.”
“I think it helped really good. I think the team is ready. We just thought about it last year, this can only get better from here.”
