The Nashville Scrappers have come into their own in the second half of the season as they head back to the second round of the playoffs. Including the playoff win against Monticello the Scrappers are riding the momentum of a five game winning streak, but this week has a shadow of familiarity as they was eliminated last year in the second round. Nevertheless, Mike Volarvich and the team are keeping their sights set on the task ahead and hope to be practicing Thanksgiving morning.
“Mike Volarvich said: Second round is where we got knocked off last year so we feel we have a little something to prove being able to move past the second round loading up for Booneville should be a good challenge they’ve won 9 in a row and looking forward to Friday night. You know if we can get past this week, move onto Thanksgiving you know its always a good thing practicing Thanksgiving morning so hopefully we can do it this year.”
