FRESNO-VISALIA, CA (KFSN/CNN) – A man in California woke up Saturday morning feeling like a million bucks.
Dale ball said he was told that a baseball card he bought for just two dollars could be auctioned off for more than $4 million.
Ball says the card in question is a genuine 1921 Babe Ruth baseball card, and he says it’s been difficult for him to keep his emotions in check since the card has been authenticated
“To watch my mom look at me and say, I finally believe you. And for my dad to know that I had something that was going to fix us all and take care of us,“ said Ball.
Ball says he has a host of other high-priced, old baseball cards he could sell, Ty Cobb, Cy Young, Walter Johns, and even an old Cleveland team featuring “Shoeless Joe Jackson.“
