Cleveland radio station pulls ‘Baby, It’s Cold Outside’ citing #MeToo movement

A Cleveland radio station has stopped playing the popular Christmas song ‘Baby It’s Cold Outside’.

WKYC, the NBC affiliate in Cleveland, reports that ‘Star 102’ Cleveland listeners raised concerns about the lyrics of the song, some saying the words send the wrong message in the era of the #MeToo movement.

Weekday host Glenn Anderson noted the song was written in a different era, but “now while reading it, it seems very manipulative and wrong.”
