A Florida man ended up in trouble with the law by pretending to be law.

According to Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, Matthew Joseph Erris faces a charge of impersonating a police officer.

He was arrested when the person he tried to pull over was an undercover detective.

The 26-year-old Erris has a realistic-looking airsoft pistol in his 2007 white Chevrolet Trailblazer and a red and blue light on the top.

Authorities are not yet sure if Erris has ever tried something like this before.
