GREENWOOD, La. (KTAL/KMSS) – A Greenwood man was arrested by Caddo deputies on Friday for making threats that temporarily closed down several local banks, said Sheriff Steve Prator.

Taylor Mullins, 24, was arrested by Cpl. Michael Page and booked into Caddo Correctional Center for terrorizing.

The Sheriff’s Office was contacted just after 2 p.m. by bank officials who said Mullins contacted their call center and made threats when he was unable to access funds to a new account.

The bank temporarily closed three branches until Mullins could be located. Deputies found him at his place of employment two hours later and took him into custody without incident.

No bond has been set on his charge.
