(WJLA/CNN NEWSOURCE) — For some people, social media is everything. For some, it’s for the birds but for students at one high school, it’s for the bugs.
Jeremy Roth has more on this story.
Nowadays, it seems like everyone has a social media account
Case in point — cockroaches inside a Maryland high school have one
“Ewww … That’s disgusting!”
It’s an Instagram account called “cockroaches of DHS”
It features pics of roaches, dead or alive, found inside Damascus high school
Humorous submissions are made by students, and some even name the bugs
“like this one’s Harold, umm this one’s Dante.”
“found this guy on the math floor, (butt too) His name is Gio, short for geometry.
The school issued a statement saying, while bug sightings in aging buildings are not unusual …
They are quickly addressed and there is no significant pest issue
Nevertheless, the account has nearly 500 followers of the buggy buffoonery …
And for the school’s mascot — a hornet — the stolen spotlight has to sting a little
And now for your moment of zen, brought to you by this Missouri goat yoga class
Goat yoga, or yoga as it’s widely known … By me …
Adds the furry friends and even beer to the group activity
I know what you’re thinking —
Hey, beer isn’t healthy!
Why are there goats again?
How is this a thing?!
Hey man, just relax, close your eyes and goat … To your happy place
