Former Trump campaign aide George Papadopoulos reports to prison today.
He’ll spend 14 days behind bars for lying to the FBI about trying to set up a meeting between the Trump campaign and two Russians who claimed to have damaging information about Hillary Clinton.
Also today: former Trump campaign chair Paul Manafort asks a judge to go light on his sentence.
Manafort was convicted on eight counts of fraud and pleaded guilty to conspiracy not related to the trump campaign. But the special counsel could use that to find out what Manafort may know about any connections between Trump and Russia.
