Trump says ‘false’ sexual misconduct claims against him affect his view of Kavanaugh allegations

President Donald Trump said Wednesday that numerous allegations of sexual misconduct that he’s faced “impact my opinion” on what he described as the false charges against his Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh.

In lengthy comments at a news conference during a United Nations meeting in New York, Trump portrayed himself as a victim of made-up allegations because of his fame and wealth. “They made false statements about me, knowing they were false,” Trump said of his accusers over the years.
