ULM football player in jail after domestic dispute

A ULM football player has been arrested after a domestic dispute.

Jaylen Veasley, 22, was arrested on Monday in Monroe.

According to the arrest report, Monroe Police responded to a disturbance. Once officers arrived, they were advised Jaylen Veasley entered the victim’s home after being advised not to enter several times.

Veasley entered through the front door and went to the bedroom where he came in contact with the victim. 
Veasley then pushed the victim and swung his fist but missed. The two wrestled through the bedroom breaking a television and miscellaneous items. 

Veasley then left the residence. Officers later came in contact with Veasley and placed him under arrest.

Veasley has been booked into the Ouachita Correctional Center on one count unauthorized entry and one count simple battery.

His bond has been set at $500.
