
A day with Border Patrol in South Texas
Border Report rode along with U.S. Border Patrol Agent Hermann Rivera on Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2019, for over four hours in South Texas. Rivera works for the Rio Grande Valley Sector, which spans over 200 river miles on the Rio Grande and includes 3,000 agents from Falcon Dam to Brownsville, Texas. He was joined with Roderick Kise, an officer with U.S. Customs and Border Protection. During the ride along 39 migrants were apprehended just in the area near Mission, Texas.
