Burn ban issued for Marion County amid dry conditions
The Marion County Judge has issued a ban on all outdoor burning throughout the county due to the continued hot, dry conditions. The ban will be in effect until further notice. In Panola County a state of disaster was declared due to the threat of wildfires. The burn ban in Panola County is in effect for the next seven days.
