On Feb. 3, 1980, Barry Chvarak, 21, shot and killed five people and wounded three others at the Starburst Lounge in El Paso, Texas. A psychological analysis found in court documents detailed a conversation he had with a friend earlier that day about what it would feel like to kill a person. Chvarak is currently in a Texas prison, convicted on five counts of murder. He has been denied parole numerous times over the years.
