Update 830pm Tuesday from Facebook Live:
A few clouds will mix in with the sunshine Wednesday. Could be more than a week before rain returns to the Arklatex. The above normal temperatures will continue.
Tuesday was another sunny day across the Arklatex. Temperatures began in the low to mid 60s. Daytime highs have once again climbed close to 90 degrees. Don’t expect much change in the week ahead. We will be watching a large area of upper level high pressure that will slowly migrate to the east during the next week. A disturbance is currently moving over the NE edge of this ridge and will move over the middle of the country. While it will likely bring a few clouds to the area late tonight into Wednesday, it will not bring any kind of rain threat.
Once this disturbance moves away, we’ll settle back into the mostly sunny pattern. Look for daytime highs to stay in the mid to upper 80s over the northern half of the area from now through next Tuesday. Highs will stay near 90 over the southern half of the area. Overnight lows will mainly be in the mid to upper 60s.

Models show that IF we se any rain from now through next Tuesday it won’t be much. We’ll likely have to wait until the middle to last half of next week to see any rain chance return. Stay Tuned!
Average High/Low for today’s date: 82/60.
