Cold Saturday Evening; Rain On the Increase Sunday Night

Futurecast

The weekend started off pretty chilly with temperatures into the 40s. Clouds are beginning to build. Tonight, lows will not be as cold as Friday night. Generally, we will see 30s to the north and 40s from Interstate 20 and south. Veterans Day is looking dry for the most part.

Rain will increase late Sunday evening into the day Monday. The best chance of rain will fall during the Monday time period. Some of the rain could be heavy. The highest rain amounts will be south of Shreveport. I am expecting rainfall totals around 1-2″.

Starting Tuesday, we will see plenty of sunshine. Temperatures will stay in the 40s on Tuesday. All of the region will wake up to below freezing temperatures Wednesday morning. Wednesday and Thursday we will see highs in the 50s. Highs will return to the 60s on Friday. After Monday, rain is not expected for the rest of the seven days.
