Monday is looking cool. Temperatures will warm up midweek


Sunday turned out to be a cool afternoon. More clouds stuck around than forecasted. Nevertheless, we will see partly cloudy skies tonight. Lows will drop into the 30s. Monday will see clouds on the increase again. A weak mid-level system will pass through Monday. Although most of us will remain dry, a shower or two is possible.

Starting Tuesday, temperatures will rebound and begin to climb. Highs will be into the 60s for Tuesday. The seventies will return for Wednesday. Along with the warmer temperatures, we will see moisture levels on the rise. Rain and thunderstorms will be on the increase for Thursday. SPC outlined a slight risk for all of the ArkLaTex for the potential of severe storms. We will keep you advised on this threat.

The rain will move out for Friday. Another system will push in for the weekend. As of now, models are showing lots of uncertainties regarding timing and strength. By next weekend, we will see highs close to eighty degrees.
