Weather article as of 5:30 AM:
Thursday morning started off very stormy. The strong line of showers and storms is now to the east of Shreveport. A Severe Thunderstorm Warning is in effect for Claiborne Parish until 6:15 AM. The storms will continue pushing to the east. During the late morning hours, we will see skies decrease. We will see plenty of sunshine. Highs will warm into the 70s area wide.
With the cooler airmass arriving later today, temperatures will drop into the 40s tonight. Highs will settle into the 50s for Friday and Saturday. Temperatures will warm slightly into the 60s for Sunday into most of next week.
From this afternoon into next week, we will see lovely weather. If you have any outdoor plans, this is the week to get it done.
Weather article of 4 AM:
A line of showers and storms are racing through the ArkLaTex this morning. We have numerous severe thunderstorm warnings and watches in the region. Once the line moves through your area, the severe weather threat is over! A Severe Thunderstorm Watch is in effect for portions of the ArkLaTex through 7 AM. I will not be shocked if the watch is extended further east.
You can view Futurecast below to see the timing for your area. I will post another video with the extended outlook soon.
