Quiet weather days ahead for the ArkLaTex

Saturday morning started off very stormy throughout the ArkLaTex. A line of showers and storms pushed through without any warnings. The afternoon turned out to be very nice with peeks of sunshine everywhere. A Lake Wind Advisory continues for all of the ArkLaTex until 6 PM. Tonight, we will see lows dropping into the 40s with decreasing skies.

Sunday is looking great with plenty of sunshine and drier air around. Highs will be into the 50s and 60s. As high pressure slides eastward, we will pick up a southeast wind for Monday. As a result, moisture levels will rise again. Temperatures will go up too.

During the work week, we will see some weak disturbances move across the Southeast. Some models suggest we will see some rain and others not so much. I went with some slight rain chances Tuesday-Friday. Temperatures will be uncertain beginning Wednesday. Models show a front trying to move into the ArkLaTex. We will see a cold front on Friday and dropping temperatures some by Saturday.
