Early morning rain is now out of the area giving away to cloudy skies. Temperatures are in the 40s and 50s. Tonight, we will see lows dropping down into the 30s areawide. Monday is shaping up to be partly to mostly cloudy with temperatures into the 50s. Tuesday will start our soggy pattern.
From Tuesday to Saturday, we will see a soggy weather pattern. We will see three disturbances move into the ArkLaTex region. On Tuesday, we will see a cold rain with temperatures only into the 40s. An area of low pressure will develop in the Gulf of Mexico and move north along a stationary front. The rain will exit late Tuesday night into Wednesday morning. The second system will arrive for Thursday.
The main system or the upper trough will move in for Friday and Saturday. The final system will draw up warm moist air for Friday and Saturday. Temperatures will rise into the 60s. By Saturday, we will be watching carefully for the potential of severe weather. By Sunday, we will see some sunshine and drier pattern set up. In the next seven days, we will see rainfall totals between 2-4 inches with some higher amounts possible.
