You couldn’t ask for a better day today with lots of sunshine and comfortable temperatures. Today a weak cold front passed through the region. The cold front will set the stage for a cool work week. The coolest high temperature for the upcoming work week will occur Tuesday. Highs will be in the 40s and 50s.

The coldest night of the week will occur on Wednesday morning. We will wake up to temperatures in the 20s and 30s. A light frost or freeze is possible. During the short term, the forecast remains quiet and sunny.
Our next major storm system will move in Friday into next weekend. Rain will begin moving in during the day Friday into the overnight hours. The rain could be heavy at times. As of now, models are forecasting rainfall totals between 2-4 inches with some heavier amounts.

The rain should exit Saturday afternoon. Temperatures will stay cool into the 40s Saturday and Sunday of next week.
