Scattered showers and storms to start off the week. Weekend looks dry and warm.
We are starting off the work-week partly to mostly cloudy, with showers and storms working their way into the ArkLaTex. Gulf moisture is working it’s way into the ArkLaTex. This will bring us a decent shot of rain Monday through Thursday. Rain will remain scattered across the region. Western portions of the ArkLaTex will see the heaviest rain this week. The most pessimistic model shows rainfall totals of more than an inch. The wettest models has amounts of over two inches.
Portions of deep east Texas could see amounts closer to two inches. Highs Monday through Thursday will stay in the upper 80’s to lower 90’s thanks to the clouds and rain. Lows are expected to remain in the lower 70’s.
As we move into the weekend, this disturbance will part ways with the ArkLaTex, leaving us with clearer skier and drier conditions. Our temperatures will rebound back into the middle 90’s by Saturday and Sunday, with overnight lows in the middle 70’s.
