Slight rain chances for Wednesday. Sunshine returns for Thursday and Friday

Temperatures are starting off into the 40s and 50s throughout the ArkLaTex. Clouds will continue to increase today. Currently, there is a cold front in Oklahoma and Kansas. Rain will increase later today.

The cold front will produce some showers primarily across the northern half of the ArkLaTex. Rain amounts will remain light.

For locations who miss the rain, temperatures will soar into the upper 60s and low 70s. The cold front will reinforce the cooler and drier air. Thursday and Friday are looking pretty good. Temperatures will be into the lower 70s. Moisture and rain will return just in time for the weekend. A few showers will be possible for Saturday.

I believe better rain chances will occur Sunday and Monday. Through Tuesday, rainfall totals will average between half an inch to an inch. Sunny skies and drier conditions will return for next Tuesday.
