Spring temperatures on the way for Tuesday

Futurecast

Hope everyone is having a great Tuesday! We are waking up to temperatures into the 50s. Once the sun rises, temperatures will rise into the lower to middle 80s. Spring-like feel throughout the ArkLaTex. You can expect one more warm day for Wednesday.

A weak cold front will work its way into the region Thursday. Due to the lack of dynamics and moisture, rain will not be a big issue. However, a shower or two is possible primarily across the eastern half of the region. As a result of the front, temperatures will drop into the 60s starting Friday.

Our next major weather maker will arrive for the weekend. Rain will increase for Saturday afternoon into early Sunday morning. The main question is will we see severe weather. Right now, models are showing the warm, unstable air will stay south of the region. We will have plenty of time to watch and see what happens. We will dry out for Monday.
