Temperatures staying warm Monday. A few showers are possible Monday

Another sunny afternoon in the ArkLaTex on Sunday. We started off the day with some patchy fog around with temperatures into the 30s and 40s. Tonight, we will see more patchy fog around with lows into the 50s. We will see some rain showers in the region for Monday. I am not expecting any washout. Monday highs will be into the 60s. I will not be surprised to see some 70s around.

A cold front and cooler airmass will move into the area by Tuesday. Tuesday will be another warm afternoon with temperatures into the 60s. We won’t feel the cooler air until Tuesday night. Wednesday and Thursday’s highs will drop into the 50s. The upper ridge of high pressure will break down and we will see rain on the increase by Friday.

Rainfall totals through Saturday

A cold rain is expected for Friday. Temperatures will struggle to make it to 50 degrees. Rain will last through Friday and into the first part of Saturday. We will dry out for Sunday with temperatures going back up into the 50s.
