The upcoming work week is looking good.

The stretch of great weather continues for the ArkLaTex. Today, highs soared into the middle 60s. Monday, we will see highs into the upper 60s to near 70. Lows will be pretty similar for the next few nights into the 40s. The upper high will remain intact.

The quiet weather pattern will break down by the end of the work week. On Friday, moisture levels will begin to increase. Next weekend, we will see two disturbances move in. The first one will move in on Saturday to provide showers and storms. The second wave will push through Sunday with another round of showers and storms. In total, rainfall amounts will average from half an inch to an inch. As of now, the higher amounts will be to the north.
