Skies are overcast again this morning with patchy fog south of I-20. Temperatures are on the cool side but all areas are above freezing to begin to the day.
The cloud cover will be stubborn again throughout the day, refusing to let through much sunshine. Despite the clouds no rain is forecast and afternoon highs will be cool but comfortable, in the mid to upper 50s. Wind will be light and out of the north early in the day before turning to the east and eventually southeast later tonight.

The returning south wind will likely reinforce the cloud cover as warmer Gulf air is pulled into the region. Lows will be in the mid 40s tonight under overcast skies with fog making another appearance.
Highs will return to the 60s tomorrow ahead of our next cold front. This arctic front will arrive Thursday bringing likely rain showers during the p.m. hours. There is a small window for winter precipitation to fall late Thursday/early Friday, but it doesn’t look promising at this point with little accumulation expected. Highs Friday through the weekend will be in the 40s.
